The 8th Fire The 8th Fire Experience The premiere of THE 8TH FIRE movie and the first 8th Fire Experience happened October 13th, 2007 at Ruta Maya in Austin, Texas. A unique and widely diverse group of people came together, representing different cultures, walks of life and ranging in age from small babies to elders in their late 80s. They came together to experience a message and a vision of HOPE and this is probably why everyone seemed so HAPPY! This first 8TH FIRE Experience included: The Eagle Horse Lakota Dancers, the screening of THE 8TH FIRE, a talk by Anishnabe Elder, Dave Courchene Jr. [Leading Earth Man] and Native Roots, Native American Reggae Band. Each speaker, dancer and performer brought forth a similar One Love, One World message and a wish for peace, unity and the healing of the Earth.
